When a young fan wearing a Steph Curry jersey failed to see that the Warriors star was attempting to dap him up on Monday, he lost the chance of a lifetime.
The incident took place in Sacramento during pregame warmups prior to Game 2 of the Kings-Warriors playoff series.
Curry may have seen a little fan following him when he was taking a three since the boy even stopped to admire the shot.
Curry turned to acknowledge the fan after his jump shot had landed, but the youngster had moved on and had already passed him.
The Dubs star then performed a lengthy handshake on himself before returning to his warmup.
There is no information on whether the fan had a second chance to meet Curry, even if it was just for a quick hey.
Curry's crowd support has suffered the past couple of games. A young fan was seen making fun of Curry during Game 1 of this first-round playoff series after De'Aaron Fox nearly dropped 40 on the Bucks.
A supposed Golden State supporter mistakenly gave him the cold shoulder before Game 2.
On Thursday, when the series shifts to San Francisco, perhaps Curry will receive better treatment from neighborhood kids.
