He will no longer play for the team.
Casey Hayward Jr. is being let go by the Falcons after just one season with the team.
In the summer before last season, Hayward signed a two-year deal with the Falcons that was worth $11 million.
He had the best years of his career with the Chargers. In 2016 and 2017, he made both the All-Pro team and the Pro Bowl.
In 2016, his first year with the Chargers, he led the NFL with seven interceptions.
