The Lakers star concluded his media availability during the team's practice with a simple, direct message ahead of Game 3 against the Memphis Grizzlies tomorrow.
"I don't want to talk much more," James explained. "It's going to be a great game tomorrow." I'm not here for the nonsense; I'm here to play, and that's all."
James has been asked multiple times about comments made by Grizzlies forward and perennial foe Dillon Brooks, and it looks that he is ready to let his game speak for itself.
During the Grizzlies' Game 2 victory on Wednesday, Brooks was overly outspoken, getting in James' face and insulting him.
Before Game 3, the sports world is reacting to James' message. "Probably shouldn't have pissed off one of the greatest to ever do it, but what do I know," another fan said."That's 50 points," another fan pointed out.
"While I'm in the minority of people who don't mind Dillon saying whatever he wants, even if I think it's crazy," one admirer pointed out.
"I understand LeBron getting tired of addressing it, especially after everything he's done in this game."
Brooks stated that he was not scared to poke the bear after Game 2, but if the fans' interpretations are correct, he may have bitten off more than he can chew.
