According to a report from yesterday, the Philadelphia Eagles planned to make a deal for former Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter the next day.
Unfortunately, that is unlikely to happen because Jalen Carter is currently the favorite to be selected with the fifth overall choice in the draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
It looks that they are looking elsewhere for a lineman who competed in the 2022 College Football Playoff to trade up for.
According to NFL Network's James Palmer, the Philadelphia Eagles have inquired about trading up from,
pick 10 to choose former Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson. Palmer, on the other hand, believes that this is not the case.
Moving up for Johnson may not be as effective for the Eagles as it was for Carter.
