Before Jalen Hurts became the highest-paid player in NFL history, he allegedly had ankle surgery in the offseason.
The surgery was to take out the "hardware" that was put in Hurts' foot after he got a high ankle sprain.
while playing for the University of Alabama against Tennessee in October 2018.
Hurts was out for almost a month, and he didn't play again until November of that season.
Hurts also had a foot surgery last February. In November of that year, he hurt his ankle playing against the Giants, which forced him to miss a game.
On Monday, he and the Eagles agreed to a five-year, $255 million extension with over $179 million in guarantees and a no-trade policy.
