Moonbin, a K-pop singer, has died at the age of 25, according to his record label.
His manager discovered him unresponsive at his flat in Seoul on Wednesday night, according to South Korean media.
"He appears to have committed suicide," police added, "but an autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death."
Moonbin "unexpectedly left our world and became a star in the sky," his label Fantiago said in a tribute.
He had been playing in a duo with another Astro member, Sanha, since 2020. Moonbin and Sanha were in the midst of a world tour, with their last performance on April 8th in Bangkok.
"I'm working out and gradually picking up where I've left off." "I chose this job, so I need to be happy so that I can make fans happy," he stated during a live social media broadcast.
The duo was scheduled to perform in Macau on Saturday, as well as Indonesia and Japan in May.
