On Friday night, a Mega Millions ticket holder matched all six numbers to win the $476 million prize. The winning ticket was bought at a store in New York City.
The numbers that won were 23, 27, 41, 48, 51, and the Mega Ball was 22. It was two times.
The New York lotto says that the ticket was sold at Liberty Beer & Convenience in Ozone Park, Queens. It is the 13th largest prize in the history of the lotto.
The cash option is expected to be worth $253,1 million, and the store selling the ticket will get $10,000 for doing so.
The lottery says that there is a 1 in 302,575,350 chance that someone will win the Mega Millions prize.
Two tickets, one in Illinois and one in Massachusetts, each won $1 million because they matched the five white balls.
One ticket from New York was one of 17 that matched four numbers and the Mega Ball to win $10,000.
It is the first jackpot winner for Mega Millions since a winning ticket worth $31 million was sold in Massachusetts on Jan. 31.
