La'el Collins recently revealed to Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson that he tore three ligaments in his left knee against the New England Patriots in Week 16 of last season.
He claims to have torn the big three. ACL, MCL, and PCL. That's why there hasn't been much said.
The ascent is long, and he's working softly... He's determined to make an Opening Day return. That's a Herculean endeavor given his surgery was in mid-January.
The good news is that the right tackle is doing well in his recuperation. Collins missed the 2020 season in Dallas due to hip concerns, according to Hobson, although that injury was more limited than this one.
He claims that Nick Cosgray, the Bengals' director of rehabilitation, is doing wonders for him. "We're right on time. Everything is working properly.
There have been no setbacks. There is no pain. "I believe I'm in a good place," Collins stated.
With the right tackle position still up in the air, Collins could return to the starting lineup before the end of the season.
Meanwhile, the team is aiming to fill positions such as running back, tight end, and cornerback. With the Draft only a week away, be sure to read our preview:
