In Game 2 of the series between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings, the play between Draymond Green and Domantas Sabonis was the most interesting. Sabonis,
who was on the ground, grabbed Green's foot and held on to it. Green stomped on Sabonis as a response.
Green got a Flagrant 2 and was kicked out of the game. Sabonis got hit during the fight.
On Tuesday night, Green's suspension for Game 3 on Thursday was announced to the Warriors and the rest of the NBA. Even though the news about Sabonis wasn't good, it was much better.
Marc J. Spears of ESPN wrote on Twitter that Sabonis's status for Game 3 is not clear. Sabonis is a big reason why Sacramento has done so well so far in the series.
In Game 1, he didn't score very much. He went 5-for-17 from the field and scored only 12 points. But he pulled down 16 boards and stole three balls.
In Game 2, he scored 24 points by going 8 for 12 from the field and from the free-throw line. Sabonis also got nine boards and passed the ball four times.
Since the Kings are already up 2-0 in the series, they can be a little careful with Sabonis.
But he is a big part of both Sacramento's offense and defense. So, if he has to miss time, his presence (or lack of it) will be felt.
