The Draft Network's Justin Melo says that the Denver Broncos met with East Carolina running back Keaton Mitchell before the draft.
Mitchell, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 179 pounds, got a lot of attention at the NFL combine when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds and did a broad jump of 10 feet 6 inches.
Last season, the small, fast running back ran for 1,452 yards and 14 scores in 12 games. He also caught 27 passes for 252 yards and another touchdown.
Before that, Mitchell ran for 1,385 yards and scored 10 touchdowns in 12 games in 2021 and 518 yards and scored three touchdowns in nine games in 2020.
