The romantic comedy chemistry between Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell is on full display.
The co-stars of the upcoming film Anyone But You attended CinemaCon 2023 on Monday in Las Vegas to premiere the first trailer for the film.
Sweeney, 25, announced shortly after taking the stage that the movie had just finished production "hours ago in Sydney, Australia,
but she and Powell still wanted to be present for the convention's showcase to movie theater professionals.
Powell, 34, jokingly said, "We love seeing ourselves on the big screen," to which Sweeney retorted, "Oh, please, Top Gun,
alluding to Powell's role in last year's blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick alongside Tom Cruise and Miles Teller.
In their conversation about Top Gun, Sweeney made a joke about how she initially believed Powell to be Teller "until the fourth day of shooting.
(He remarked later, "You knew I'm not Miles Teller," to which she jokingly retorted, "No, I did. However, I mistakenly believed you to be Tom Cruise.
