The sports world is saddened by the death this week of a quarterback who used to play in the Pro Bowl.
A statement from the Minnesota Vikings says that Bob Berry, who played in the NFL
For two different teams, died on Wednesday. He had lived for 81 years.
During the 1964 draft, Berry was picked up by both the NFL and the AFL. He finished his final year at Oregon and then joined the Vikings later that year.
Berry had a hard time getting into the starting lineup with the Vikings.
He finally joined the Atlanta Falcons, where he was named to the Pro Bowl in 1969.
