Boomer Esiason, who used to play quarterback for the New York Jets and now works as an expert for "The NFL Today,"
is as sure as ever that the team will soon sign Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers.
"At the end of the day, I still believe, and I'm not going to back down, that it's going to happen, and it's going to happen pretty soon," Esiason said
"Before the draft, I think. I do think that the Jets and the Packers will trade their first-round picks. I do think that it will be a factor."
Esiason has ties to the Jets and has talked about the issue many times.
Jets general manager Joe Douglas said at an event held by Esiason that the future Hall of Famer is "gonna be here."
