Watson got a five-year, $230 million deal from the Cleveland Browns after they bought him from the Houston Texans last year.
The deal was fully guaranteed. He is the first quarterback in the history of the NFL to sign a deal like that.
Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens has been looking for a deal like that, but neither the Ravens nor another team has given it to him yet.
Watson was asked about this on Tuesday at a press meeting. He said that he hoped he would get what he wanted.
"From the outside looking in, I hope he gets what he wants," Watson said. "Like I said, I never talk to him about it, so I can't say anything about his work.
Since he was chosen, Jackson has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
