Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald says that the Dolphins and free agent receiver Chosen Anderson have reached a deal.
Anderson, who used to be called Robbie Anderson, has been a free agent since the Cardinals let him go on March 8. The team saved $12 million by not having to pay him.
Last season, the Panthers moved him to the Cardinals a few days after interim coach Steve Wilks sent Anderson to the locker room for arguing with his position coach in the middle of a game.
Anderson has caught 375 passes for 4,956 yards and 29 scores over the course of seven NFL seasons. His only season with 1,000 yards was in 2020.
Anderson's arrival could mean that the Dolphins want to move Cedrick Wilson, who signed with the team last year after having a great year with the Cowboys in 2021.
Wilson joined the Dolphins as a free agent last year. Wilson only had 237 offensive snaps, during which he caught 12 passes for 136 yards.
In the Dolphins' wide room, there are also Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Braxton Berrios, Freddie Swain, Erik Ezukanma, and River Cracraft.
