The Buffalo Bills gave a one-year contract to offensive tackle Kevin Jarvis.
Jarvis, who was 23 at the time, joined the NFL in 2022 as an unpaid rookie. He spent five years at Michigan State and then signed with the Detroit Lions.
But in August of the next year, he got hurt and was put on injured reserve. Jarvis hasn't played in any NFL games yet.
In school, the 6-foot-6 project piece was used to start 39 games. He has the known versatility that the Bills like to see in their offensive lines. He has started his career as both a guard and a tackle.
The Lions took Jarvis off IR in September after he got hurt and didn't say what happened. He will now play for the Bills in 2023.
Jarvis, who was originally signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent, will try to give Buffalo good backup on the inside of the line now that he seems to be healthy.
Kevin Jarvis was born on December 22, 1998. He is 6-4 (193 cm) tall and weighed 307 lbs (139 kg) when playing.
