Longtime host Don Lemon is no longer working for CNN. The news came out on Monday with no reason, which shocked the media business.
In a letter to staff, CNN CEO Chris Licht said, "Don will always be a part of the CNN family,
we thank him for his work over the past 17 years." "We hope the best for him and will cheer him on in his future plans."
Lemon was the host of "CNN This Morning" with Poppy Harlow and Kaitlan Collins. It's been almost six months since the show started.
In his own statement, Lemon said that his agency told him that CNN had fired him on Monday morning.
