In recent years, the Philadelphia Eagles have made a number of significant changes.
Let's not forget that they acquired wide receiver A.J. Brown from the Tennessee Titans in last year's NFL Draft and signed him to a four-year,
$100 million deal extension. Brown was a huge difference maker, as he helped elevate the offense throughout the season and in Super Bowl 57 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Could the Eagles make another significant move? On early Saturday morning, NFL Network analyst Akbar Gbaja-Biamila tweeted,
"Breaking: move out of the way, Derrick Henry is headed to the Eagles." The NFL world is now waiting to discover if this is true,
especially with the NFL Draft taking place on April 27-29. Brown chimed in, adding that no one on the Eagles currently wears the No. 22, so he sent a message to the team:
"make it happen if it's possible."Brown is fine for the Eagles re-signing his old comrade Henry, but only if it is possible.
The Eagles are looking for a running back this summer, as last year's starter, Miles Sanders, inked a four-year, $25.4 million contract with the Carolina Panthers.
Philadelphia does have two first-round picks in 2023 (Nos. 10 and 31 overall), which they might use on a running back like Texas' Bijan Robinson or Alabama's Jahmyr Gibbs.
