The Cowboys took a little longer than most teams to start signing their draft picks.
But on Wednesday, four of the nine signed their first professional contracts.
The most important was Ezekiel Elliott, who was picked fourth overall.
A source says that Elliott will get $24.9 million totally guaranteed over four years, plus a $16.3 million signing bonus.
Spotrac says that Elliott's average annual salary of $6.25 million puts him in ninth place among NFL running backs.
Stephen Jones, the Cowboys' executive vice president, explained last week why the team hadn't signed any of its draft picks yet.
