The Golden State Warriors faced the Sacramento Kings in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series on Monday evening.
The Warriors were defeated 114-106, putting them down 2-0 (Games 3 and 4 will be played on their home court).
Draymond Green, a four-time All-Star, made NBA history by moving atop the all-time postseason assists chart during the game.
The former Michigan State star entered the night ranked 21st on the list with 903 assists.
Green was dismissed in the fourth quarter for a flagrant 2 foul on Domantas Sabonis. With the setback, the Warriors fell to 11-32 in their 43 games away from the Chase Center in San Francisco this season.
For context, they are 33-8 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home court.
The team has won the NBA Championship four of the previous eight seasons (and been to the Finals six times), but they have appeared beatable this year.
With a 44-38 record, they finished the season as the sixth seed in the Western Conference. Game 3 will take place on Thursday night.
