The 2023 NFL Draft will likely open with quarterbacks. Adam Schefter said numerous quarterbacks may not go immediately.
The ESPN insider suggested on Monday's NFL Live that the Indianapolis Colts might pick the draft's second quarterback at No. 4 if the Carolina Panthers chose one first.
"We may not draft a quarterback at two or three... Schefter stated that Indianapolis may have the best options.
Schefter believes the Colts may take one, so it's unclear if Orlovsky meant top three or after the Panthers' pick.
"These teams are currently patient. "They seem willing to wait, and I don't think we'll see a quarterback go at two," Schefter remarked, becoming increasingly heated.
I think all clubs talking about trade up to three realize that, so they can sit back and wait. This huge quarterback rush we've been expecting may start later than expected."
Houston Texans need a quarterback, but they might gamble on Anthony Richardson or Will Levis at No. 12 and go elsewhere at No. 2.
Arizona Cardinals may trade down to a team seeking a quarterback at No. 3. On Thursday, April 27, Round 1 will reveal Schefter's prediction.
