Most people have thought for the last three months that the Panthers would probably take Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the first pick in the draft.
The Browns would pick C.J. Stroud from Ohio State with the second pick in the 2023 NFL draft. No longer is that true.
Young seems almost certain to go to the Panthers, but there are growing questions that the Texans will pick Stroud.
In fact, Stroud is now a long shot to be the No. 2 overall pick, according to the odds.
At the moment, Alabama pass rusher Will Anderson is the favorite to go No. 2, with odds of +190 at FanDuel.
Will Levis, the quarterback for Kentucky, is next at +270. At +340, Stroud is tied with pass rusher Tyree Wilson from Texas Tech.
Now that Young is almost certain to go first, the most interesting spot in the draft is No. 2, where no one seems to know what the Texans will do.
Will Anderson and Will Levis have better chances than C.J. Stroud to be the No. 2 pick, according to bettors. This article was originally published on Pro Football Talk.
