Patrick Mahomes' ankle issue from the Super Bowl still plagues him.
After beating the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII with Patrick Mahomes' injured ankle, it's been two months.
Fans expected the quarterback to be fully recovered from the high ankle sprain eight weeks after the Super Bowl and ten weeks after the injury.
"I wouldn't say I'm 100%, but I have had no limitations," Mahomes said. "When you go through the grind of a week of training, and you're trying to push it and go through the rehab process, but you want to make sure you're still building,
"You might be sore on weekends, but I think we've done a great job of pushing it to the right limit to where now, I'm throwing and stuff like that and having no limitations there."
However, its persistence concerns him. Playing through injuries can have long-term effects, and Mahomes aggravated that one during the Super Bowl, missing a drive.
