After being in a fatal car crash, NFL draft prospect Michael Jefferson had to have "multiple surgeries."
The 23-year-old wide receiver was hurt in a multiple-car crash in Mobile, Alabama, on Sunday night.
He will need multiple surgeries to fix his injuries.
A man in a 2014 Dodge Charger hit Jefferson's 2019 Chevrolet Impala head-on. The man was 55 years old.
The Dodge Charger driver wasn't wearing a seat belt, and he or she was allegedly pronounced dead at the scene.
Jefferson played football for the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. In his senior year, he caught 51 passes for 810 yards and seven scores.
