Josh Jacobs, a running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, has joined the list of offensive stars who have turned down the franchise tag.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network says that Jacobs hasn't signed his franchise offer and won't show up on Monday for optional offseason programs.
Jacobs is the second Pro Bowl running back, after Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants
To not sign the franchise tag and not take part in early offseason exercises. Both want to sign long-term deals.
Jacobs led the league in rushing yards with 1,653 last season, while Barkley was fourth with 1,312.
Still, teams avoid giving RBs long-term contracts because they often don't work out.
