Foster Moreau announced he had Hodgkin's lymphoma a few weeks ago.
On Friday, he gave an encouraging report on his cancer fight by saying that doctors have told him he has a good chance of getting better.
Moreau found out he had Hodgkin's lymphoma during a routine physical exam after signing a deal with the Saints.
He told Good Morning America that his doctors told him the disease is spreading slowly and that they "should be able to get rid of all of it."
During his time on the show, he talked about how important it is for people to get regular check-ups with their doctors so that they can handle any major illnesses in the best way possible.
"I'd tell anyone who doesn't want to get a checkup or is afraid to go to the doctor or take a test that it won't change the result, right? "Knowing is better," Moreau said.
