Under new general manager Monti Ossenfort, the Arizona Cardinals have signed their 13th free agent since the end of the 2023 season.
The Cardinals gave offensive lineman Jackson Barton a one-year contract on Friday.
Last week, ESPN's Field Yates said that Arizona had Barton over for a free-agent visit.
In the seventh round of the 2019 NFL draft, Barton was picked up by the Indianapolis Colts. In his first year, he was cut from the team.
He then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he got a Super Bowl ring. Before the 2020 season, the Chiefs let Barton go, and the New York Giants would pick him up off waivers.
Barton played in six games last season. He had one offensive play and 21 special-team plays.
