Ian Rapoport said today that Chosen Anderson would sign a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins.
Anderson was let go by the Arizona Cardinals to make room in their salary cap. Three years ago, he had a career-high of 1,096 yards catching.
Anderson will be the Dolphins' fourth fast player. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Braxton Berrios are also on the team.
Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post said that the signing of Anderson could force the team to trade Cedrick Wilson Jr.
Anderson went to college at Temple and played football there. Joining the Dolphins is a bit of a return for him, though, since he went to South Plantation High School in Florida.
Mike McDaniel and the rest of the team are smart to sign Anderson, who is coming off a bad season. Chosen will help Miami win in 2023, whether he starts as a receiver or works on special teams.
